TWO FURTHER CASES OF AVIAN INFLUENZA CONFIRMED IN WALES

Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed. Please check GOV.WALES: https://gov.wales/avian-influenza-bird-flu-latest-update and GOV.​UK: https://www.gov.uk/bird-flu for the latest information about the following cases:

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Newtown, Montgomeryshire, Powys.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Welshpool, Montgomeryshire, Powys.
