AVIAN INFLUENZA CONFIRMED NEAR BEXHILL ON SEA, EAST SUSSEX

Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a premises near Bexhill-on-Sea, Rother, East Sussex.

Although poultry housing measures have been lifted the risk from wild birds remains and the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone remains in place. Keepers must follow the enhanced mandatory biosecurity guidance on GOV.​UK: https://www.gov.uk/bird-flu and remain vigilant.
