Following official testing, a suspect highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 case at a third premises near Cullompton, Mid Devon, Devon has now been confirmed as HPAI H5N1.

The Avian Influenza Prevention Zone has been lifted, but all bird keepers should remain vigilant and still follow enhanced biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks.
