AVIAN INFLUENZA CONFIRMED AT A PREMISES NEAR BRIDLINGTON

Following official testing, a suspect highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 case at a premises near Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire has now been confirmed as HPAI H5N1.

The Avian Influenza Prevention Zone has been lifted, but all bird keepers should remain vigilant and still follow enhanced biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks.
