Five further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed. As various restrictions now apply, please check GOV.SCOT: https://www.gov.scot/publications/avian-influenza-bird-flu/ & GOV.​UK: https://www.gov.uk/bird-flu for the latest information about the following new cases:

  • a premises near Huntly in Aberdeenshire, Scotland
  • a premises near Saxmundham, East Suffolk, Suffolk
  • a third and fourth premises near Much Hoole, South Ribble, Lancashire
  • a fourth premises near North Somercotes, East Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
