Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed. As various restrictions now apply, please check GOV.SCOT: https://www.gov.scot/publications/avian-influenza-outbreaks/ and GOV.​UK: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/bird-flu-avian-influenza-latest-situation-in-england for the latest information about the following new cases:

  • a premises near Cumnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland

  • a second premises near Kirkham, Fylde, Lancashire.
