Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed. As various restrictions now apply, please check GOV.SCOT: https://www.gov.scot/publications/avian-influenza-outbreaks/ & GOV.​UK: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/bird-flu-avian-influenza-latest-situation-in-england for the latest information about the following new cases:

  • a premises near Banff, Aberdeenshire

  • a premises near Leyburn, Richmondshire, North Yorkshire.
