TWO FURTHER CASES OF AVIAN INFLUENZA CONFIRMED IN SCOTLAND

Two further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed in Scotland. As various restrictions now apply, please check GOV.SCOT: https://www.gov.scot/publications/avian-influenza-outbreaks/ for the latest information about the following new cases:

  • a premises near Tingwall, Shetland Islands
  • a second premises in Lower Barvas, Isle of Lewis.
