AVIAN INFLUENZA

I have been informed that Avian Flu has been reported on sites around the UK this week. At present, this is being reported as a wild bird outbreak and no restriction zones have been imposed. As soon as I get more details and confirmation, I will update you all. We as Falconers need to be vigilant as the game season begins. This highly pathogenic virus is present in a least one of our quarry species and could be a threat to our own birds.
