Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a second premises near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, Yorkshire.
Following a risk assessment, a 3km Captive Bird (Monitoring) Controlled Zone (CBMCZ) has been put in place. All bird keepers should remain vigilant & follow stringent biosecurity measures to prevent future outbreaks. More info, including the restrictions in the Zone is available on GOV.UK.
