Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a seventh premises near Thirsk, Thirsk and Malton, North Yorkshire.
A 3km Protection Zone and 10km Surveillance Zone have been put in place around the premises. Further information about this case is available on GOV.UK.
An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory biosecurity measures is also in force across Great Britain with additional mandatory housing measures in force to protect poultry & captive birds in the following areas:
