Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed in commercial poultry near Hallow, Malvern Hills, Worcestershire. A 3km Protection Zone and 10km Surveillance Zone has been put in place around the premises. Please check GOV.UK for further information.

An Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory housing measures is now in place across of England and an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) with mandatory biosecurity measures is also in force across Great Britain.

All bird keepers must follow stringent biosecurity measures, any housing measures/Protection/Surveillance Zone restrictions in their area to prevent future outbreaks.
